My husband and I loved our stay at Captain Wohlt Inn! Brant greeted us warmly and left fresh cookies in our room. The ambiance suit our style perfectly, cozy and inviting. The breakfast each morning was delicious, gorgeous presentation, and chef Mary tailored it to my husband's Keto needs, which was a delightful surprise. The outdoor areas were lovely, but we couldn't enjoy them fully due to the chilly weather. We appreciated Brant's thoughtful touch with the fire pit and s'mores fixings. The only hiccup was the bathroom in our room. it felt a bit cramped, and the shower had a loud noise when in use. Otherwise, everything was splendid and we can't wait to return.

We had an amazing time at this charming spot! On our first night, we enjoyed roasting smores at the cozy fire pit. Our room was pristine and so peaceful. Breakfast was out of this world—each morning's spread was simply delightful!
My kids wished there were more outdoor activities available for families.

We loved exploring the nearby Stone Hill Winery and Adam Puchta & Son Winery. The breakfast was fantastic, thanks to Mary, and we enjoyed the s'mores kit on Friday night. The outdoor seating was perfect for socializing while keeping our distance. Brant was super helpful with tips around town.
The only downside was that the rooms could be a bit noisy at times, especially with other guests moving around.

The atmosphere here is straight-up cozy, especially with the outdoor fire pit providing a perfect spot for roasting s'mores under the stars. The location couldn't be better, within walking distance of Stonehill Winery, making wine tasting a breeze. The substantial breakfast—especially the apple brioche French toast—is a definite highlight.
The steep stairs can be tricky if you're not spry, which may be a concern for those with mobility issues. Additionally, while the rooms were comfortable, they were still in older buildings that may not have the same soundproofing you'll find in newer establishments—light sleepers might want to come prepared with earplugs.

The charming gardens and outdoor seating made our stay feel like a scenic retreat. The accessible common areas allowed us to mingle with fellow guests comfortably, and the decor was inviting without being overwhelming.
More seating options indoors would be appreciated.
